Ugh! I just heard!!! The financial problem is that Americans make too much money. GM has been accused of taking care of workers, and THAT is why they are failing. So this contest isn't ABOUT who is best, it's about who is cheapest, and if you don't do things cheap, you deserve to lose. And now that we've tried to emulate foreigners by working cheap and letting go of our economic safeguards. The real way to win is to concentrate on quality rather than quantity. But then again, the temptation always plays to cheap.
